We are pleased to announce the launch of WEB (Women Education in Business), which is a practical response to the needs of Omani women between the ages of 18 and 64, who make up about 1.1 million women and a response to Oman 2040 vision. The vision is concerned with building a productive and diversified economy based on innovation, integration of roles and equal opportunities that leads to integration into the global economy and effective contribution to international trade.
The program is in Strategic Partnership with Ministry of Social Development, Financial Partnership with Oman Development Bank and Social Media Partnership with Qabas Media and Marketing. The Programme is done with a platinum sponsorship from Mohsin Haider Darwish, GlobCom and Oman Development Bank.
The 25 participants will be trained over four phases:
1. Women’s DNA for Business: Do you have it? How to gain it?
2. Business Administrative Environment in Oman
3. The Launch of Business
4. Business Development and Sustainability
This seven-week social training program aims at helping women create and sustain successful businesses independently without compromising family values and responsibilities. It is an initiative that joins the private sector, government sector and the industry for sustainable effective results.
