The ACADEMY introduced a new course exclusively for the tour guides of the Royal Opera House Muscat under the title Emotional Intelligence and Charisma in Performance Excellence. The course helps tour guides recognize the importance of emotional intelligence in customer service to enable them to deliver the best service the customer expects and learn the most important skills for a charismatic personality to achieve successful interaction with clients. The course also provides tour guides with the basics of etiquette and verbal and nonverbal communication skills with others. All the training leads to an on-job project in which the participants deliver a tour in the Opera House providing an experience full of new ideas.
